Dynacons Systems & Solutions has secured a contract worth Rs 58 crore from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM). The contract is of Hospital Management Information System (HMIS).
HMIS is being implemented as part of the citizen welfare services under the initiative of transform Mumbai into a city of millennium by MCGM. The facility is being implemented at more than 400 health facilities.
The order covers five major hospitals of Mumbai, namely Nair Hospital, Cooper Hospital, Rajawadi Hospital, Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital and Kasturba Hospital, as part of Phase-I of the entire HMIS initiative.
Under this initiative patients’ records will be maintained with a unique id and will be available across the network hospitals. The HMIS-infra contract covers the setup of the IT infrastructure, network, connectivity, enterprise management system, PACS software, radiology systems and software.
It also includes services and support for a period of five years.
The main objective of the project is to implement HMIS at MCGM’s network which comprises three major hospitals, one dental hospital, 18 peripheral hospitals, five speciality hospitals, 28 maternity homes, 161 dispensaries and 183 health posts.
