ELANTAS Beck India has been granted environmental clearance (EC) from the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Gujarat (SEIAA), for setting up a synthetic organic chemicals manufacturing plant at plot no 1 and 122, Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), Ankleshwar, Bharuch district.
The proposed capacity addition is of 48,763 tonne from the existing capacity of 21,353 tonne. The existing capacity utilisation is over 90 percent.
The project will entail an investment of around Rs 412 crore. It will be financed through internal accruals and other finances, if required, at the time of project execution.
