EPACK Durable, one of India’s leading manufacturers of consumer durables, has entered into a partnership with South Korea-based Bumjin Electronics Co., a global leader in audio solutions.
Signed on 24 July, 2025, the agreement marks Bumjin’s entry into the Indian market and strengthens EPACK Durable’s presence in the smart audio segment. The collaboration will focus on the local manufacturing of soundbars, television speakers, and Bluetooth audio devices, aiming to capture a 30 percent market share in the category. Manufacturing operations are scheduled to begin by Q3/FY26.
The partnership leverages EPACK Durable’s large-scale production, R&D, and distribution capabilities, alongside Bumjin’s expertise in speaker technology and product design. This move aligns with EPACK Durable’s broader strategy to diversify beyond room air conditioners into high-growth consumer electronics categories. The joint venture is expected to facilitate technology transfer, innovation, and product development tailored to Indian consumers, while also opening avenues for exports.
