1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

WS Audiology to expand capacity in Bengaluru with upcoming facility

Manufacturer of leading-edge hearing aids, WS Audiology, will set up a new manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka to expand its capabilities and services in India, marking a step forward in making deeper inroads into the crucial Indian market.

The facility is expected to be operational by mid-2024. In India, the company has five offices spread across key locations with 500 employees. Moreover, it also tied up with Titan Eyecare, a division of the Titan Company, as the firm pursues growth strategy for its business in the country, 

The new device launched by the company is capable of identifying and focusing on each person’s voice in a conversation, and ensuring improved speech understanding, even in dynamic social settings, with minimal background noise. The new product enables tracking and enhancing multiple speakers in real-time. 

In India, approx. 63 million people grapple with significant auditory impairment. Further, the World Health Organisation (WHO) projects a rise to 2.5 billion people with hearing loss by 2050.
