Eastern Railway has floated a tender for a new rail line between Godda station (excluding) and Mahagama station (including), as part of the larger Pirpainti–Jasidih new rail line initiative under Eastern Railway’s jurisdiction in Uttar Pradesh.
The work covers the stretch from km 32.439 to km 60.000, and includes comprehensive civil engineering, P. Way, electrification, signaling, and telecommunication tasks required for laying the new railway track. The project is expected to improve regional rail connectivity and boost infrastructure in the area, contributing to both passenger and freight movement.
The total value of the contract stands at Rs 531.23 crore. The tender aims to engage contractors with experience in multi-disciplinary railway infrastructure projects.
The bid submission closing date is set for 17 October, 2025.
