Eastman Auto & Power (EAPL) is set to leverage the momentum from the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana to expand its rooftop solar business, aiming to more than double the segment’s revenue contribution from 20 percent in FY25 to 40 percent in FY26.
Solar rooftop sales are expected to contribute Rs 2,500–3,000 crore in FY26, driven by improved financing access, reduced system costs, strong government subsidies, and growing consumer awareness. EAPL will expand from residential to commercial and industrial (C&I) clients, with larger systems and energy storage integration gaining momentum. Eastman currently has an installed capacity of 11 GW, with plans to scale it to 16 GW by FY26 and 34 GW by FY28.
The firm will invest Rs 700–1,000 crore in capex over three years, fully funded via internal accruals.
