Emaar India, part of Emaar Properties of Dubai, plans to develop projects spanning a total of 10-11 million sq. ft. The developer is looking to enter into one or two more cities. Of this, 1.2 million sq. ft. is already in development and seven to eight million sq. ft. will be taken up by the end of the year.
Taking into account land expenditure, the company will spend USD two billion on the projects.
About 85 percent of its sales come from its market in Gurugram, and the rest from Lucknow, Mohali, Ludhiana, Jaipur, and Indore. The company has also implemented a customer centricity forum to resolve customer issues.
Besides this, Emaar India is also evaluating the outlook for hospitality sector and is looking to bring some hotel brands of its parent company from Dubai.
