Emmvee Energy (EEPL) has started operations at its 2.5 GW solar module manufacturing line, at its Unit VI facility in Sulibele, Hoskote Taluk, Bengaluru.
This commissioning is part of the company’s planned capacity expansion outlined in its IPO documents and has been completed within the scheduled timeline. With this new line, Emmvee’s total solar module manufacturing capacity has now reached 10.3 GW. For the first half of FY 2026, Emmvee reported a significant 193 percent year-on-year revenue increase, reaching Rs 2,159 crore, while its profit after tax grew nearly seven-fold, driven by higher module volumes and expanded manufacturing capacity.
Additionally, Emmvee announced the beginning of construction on a proposed 6 GW integrated solar cell and module manufacturing facility at ITIR Phase 2 in Bengaluru. The company has also secured loan approval of Rs 3,306 crore from the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) for this project.
