Express Infrastructure, a subsidiary of Express Newspaper, is venturing into the hospitality business.
The company plans to set up a four star boutique hotel near its Express Avenue Mall in Chennai. The hotel - E Hotel - will have 50 rooms. The company will be investing Rs 30 crore in the hotel that will be ready in the next three to four months.
The company’s Express Avenue Mall has been developed on 11 acre with 9,00,000 sq ft of retail space at a cost of Rs 750 crore. The mall houses 210 premium national and international brands, including Big Bazaar, Lifestyle, Marks & Spencer and Volvo cars.
