Ferguson, the leading value-added distributor in North America’s Rs 28.4 lakh crore (USD 340 billion) residential and non-residential construction market, has launched its global capability centre (GCC) in Bengaluru, in partnership with ANSR, a global expert in setting up and operating GCCs. This move is a strategic milestone in Ferguson’s digital transformation, underscoring its commitment to delivering advanced customer experiences through technology and innovation.
The Bengaluru GCC will be an operational and innovation extension of Ferguson, focused on software engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), ERP, CRM, data science, analytics, and network operations. Arvind Rathore, Acting MD of Ferguson GCC, stated, “This is not just about scaling technology, it’s about building a future-ready organization.” With over 50 associates already onboard, the centre is set to scale significantly over the next five years and will also host key leadership roles. Lalit Ahuja, Founder & CEO of ANSR, emphasised that this collaboration reflects Ferguson’s long-term commitment to technology-led growth.
Rather than relocating roles, the center will enhance Ferguson’s global development initiatives by adding scalability, speed, and agility, while offering exciting career opportunities to India’s tech talent. HAL and Safran sign pact to manufacture LEAP engine parts in India.
