Fortis Healthcare on 16 January 2014, has launched a greenfield hospital in Ludhiana, Punjab.
The 260 beds super specialty hospital is spread over 3.5 acres of land on Chandigarh-Ludhiana road, 6 km from Samrala Chowk. The hospital will have advanced centre of excellence in Oncology, a day care ward for chemotherapy patients and 24x7 critical care services.
In another development, Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab, laid foundation stone for Fortis La Femme at Mall Road, Ludhiana. The 100 beds centre for women will be completed by 2016.
Fortis has committed significant investments in creating capacity of over 1,000 beds in Punjab.
