1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Fortune Park Hotels to add more properties

Fortune Park Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of ITC, is planning to add more properties to its existing network of 32 by end-December 2010.

On 2 February 2010, the company inaugurated its 32nd property Fortune Park Vallabha in Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. Fortune Park Vallabha is owned by VA Hotels, a group that has interests in property development, hospitality, infrastructure construction and retail businesses. The Rs 35-crore project has been set up by a group of NRIs and local business partners.

Fortune Park plans to set up six hotels in the NCR and one each in Kolkata and Gandhinagar (Gujarat) while that at Thane (Maharashtra) will also have a hospital project.

Besides, the company has signed up 57 alliances with a total capacity of 4,669 rooms across 43 cities. Of this, 32 are operational at present and 25 hotels are in various stages of development.
