This facility is Foxconn’s second-largest globally outside China and adds to its existing iPhone 17 production at the Chennai unit. The Bengaluru project had faced a brief disruption after hundreds of Chinese engineers abruptly left, but Foxconn resolved the gap by bringing in experts from Taiwan and other regions.
