Funskool, a wholly-owned company of the tyre manufacturer MRF, has drawn up expansion plans for driving sales. The company will tap exports markets and expand its capacity.
The company based in Chennai and which operates two factories in Goa and Tamil Nadu is commissioning a third plant at Ranipet, Tamil Nadu in February 2019 at an investment of Rs 25 crore.
Phase-I will be commissioned by February 2019 and company intends to have one more factory by 2020. The company already ships to Australia, Africa, Britain, Europe, the Gulf and the US. It has 16 retail stores in India.
