The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has floated a tender for the construction of a 100 million litres per day (MLD) main pumping station (MPS) and a 100 MLD sewage treatment plant (STP), along with a Bio-CNG plant, at Dhanwapur, Gurugram.
The scope of work includes the complete construction of the MPS and STP, based on sequencing batch reactor (SBR) technology, installation of the Bio-CNG plant, and associated civil, electrical, and mechanical works. The contract with a completion period of 24 months, also covers operations and maintenance (O&M) for a period of 10 years after the completion of a one-year defect liability period (DLP). This initiative aims to enhance Gurugram’s sewage treatment capacity, promote renewable energy generation from waste, and improve environmental sustainability.
The contract is valued at Rs 166.97 crore, and has a bid submission deadline of 20 August, 2025.
