GPT Infraprojects has bagged a Rs 481.11 crore contract from South Eastern Railway, Kolkata. The order involves constructing Bridge No. 57 over the Rupnarayan River for the down and middle line.
The scope includes 2x30.5 mtrs. OWG, 7x91.4 mtrs. OWG, and 2x30.5 mtrs. OWG, along with viaducts on both approaches featuring composite girders. Additionally, the work includes constructing Kolaghat Station with elevated platforms No. 1 and 2 on a diverted alignment along the Howrah-Kharagpur route in the Kharagpur division. The work will be executed under the engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) mode.
The company specialises in executing civil and infrastructure projects, particularly large bridges and railway overbridges (ROBs). It also manufactures and supplies concrete sleepers for railways in India and Africa.
