Ganesh Infraworld has secured a work contract worth Rs 203.83 crore by Welspun Enterprises for earthwork and excavation for sewage treatment infrastructure at the Dharavi sewage treatment plant (STP) in Mumbai.

The project is a part of Mumbai’s broader infrastructure upgrade aimed at improving sanitation and wastewater management in the densely populated Dharavi region. Ganesh Infraworld will undertake extensive groundwork and excavation activities necessary for setting up the STP's core facilities.

This contract highlights Ganesh Infraworld’s growing presence in urban infrastructure development, particularly in critical utility sectors such as sewage and waste management. The project is expected to contribute significantly to improving public health and environmental standards in Mumbai by enabling efficient sewage treatment and reducing pollution in surrounding water bodies.
