The Government of Goa has proposed 'Anjuna beach side development,' plan for Anjuna beach area in the state.
The state government plans to develop the project on 2.36 lakh sq mtr in Anjuna which belongs to Goa Tourism Development Corporation.
Execution of the project will require investment of more than Rs 300 crore. The Goa Government intends to develop the project on PPP mode for which it will soon invite EoIs for construction of the plan.
As per the development plan, it will develop a watch tower, botanical garden, adventure sports such as rock climbing, flying fox, rope-challenge, and bungee jumping, besides indoor games. The project will also include an amphitheatre and partying lawn. The space has been earmarked for Thai spa cottage, go-karting, archery, roller-ball zorbing, and also for restaurants, hotels and cottages.
