Goldi Solar, a solar panel manufacturer, plans to expand its manufacturing capacity to 2.5 GW from the existing 500 MW with a new facility on the outskirts of Surat in Gujarat.
The existing facility has a capacity of 500 MW and the expansion of two GW has been planned in two stages.
Phase-I is slated to commence by the end of Q2/FY22 with a one GW commercial production. Phase-II of production will start by the end of Q4/FY22.
