Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held his fourth high-level meeting in Gandhinagar on 03 December, 2025 to review the progress of 27 key projects worth Rs 11,360 crore, focusing on railways, industry, and urban development.
The meeting covered four railway projects worth Rs 4,190 crore, including the quadrupling of the Samakhiali-Gandhidham railway line and the construction of the Naliya-Jakhau line. It also reviewed six industry projects, such as the Dholera Greenfield Airport and Bulk Drug Park. Urban projects under review included the Smart City Mission’s 14 MW Waste-to-Energy Plant in Ahmedabad and slum rehabilitation efforts in Vadaj. CM Patel stated, “These projects will advance integrated and holistic development.”
The CM emphasised timely project completion without compromising quality and instructed officials to expedite land-related issues for railway projects. The progress of 6 key projects worth Rs 3,657.62 crore under the Industries and Mines Department was reviewed, including the development of Dholera's Greenfield Airport Phase-1, a water supply scheme in Navsari, Bulk Drug Park, Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal in Morbi, and a deep-sea effluent disposal pipeline at Sayakha. The Chief Minister emphasised timely completion of the effluent pipeline project.
