H-Energy Gateway has inked an agreement with Engie to charter its Floating Storage Re-gasification Unit (FSRU) GdF Suez Cape Ann.
The FSRU has a storage capacity of 1,45,000 cu mtr and is equipped with re-gasification capacity to operate the project at around four million tpa. It is also capable of reloading LNG onto other LNG vessels.

The companies can extend the charter party agreement beyond the initial term on mutual agreement.
All required studies such as Navigation Simulation, Quantitative Risk Assessment, etc. have been conducted for safe mooring of the LNG FSRU at the new jetty.
H-Energy awarded the EPCM contract to Engineers India (EIL) for construction of its 60 km tie-in pipeline from Jaigarh port to Dabhol. The project is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2018.
Work on construction of the jetty for the Floating Storage and Re-gasification Unit (FSRU) project has been started at Jaigarh port.
The company plans to commence commercial operations of the LNG facilities in the third quarter of 2018, after completing the necessary topside facilities.
