McDonald’s West and South India’s master franchisee Hardcastle Restaurants will add 25-30 outlets in 2018.
The outlets will be a combination of regular McDonald outlets and the high-end ‘Experience of the Future’ restaurant.
In order to launch new outlets in the West and South and refurbishing existing ones, an investment of Rs 100 crore will be made. The company is also exploring more cities for opening ‘Experience of the Future’ outlets.
The franchisee is also looking to bring out wholesome and nutritious products for health-conscious consumers. It launched ‘Rice Fiesta’, which is currently available only in 16 McDonald’s outlets in Chennai.
The company is looking to launch the product across the South and West in coming years.
