Havells India is set to scale up its cable manufacturing operations at its Alwar plant, following the allotment of additional land by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO).

The company has been offered a land parcel of 1,58,200 sq. mtrs., located adjacent to its current manufacturing facility in Alwar. This move aligns with Havells’ long-term strategy to boost production capacity and meet rising demand in the cables segment. The company had formally notified in May, 2025, its plan to enhance cable manufacturing capacity at the Alwar unit.

The expansion is expected to further strengthen Havells’ presence in the industrial and consumer electrical goods market while supporting its growth trajectory in the infrastructure and real estate-driven demand for electrical cables. The new land will provide scope for installing advanced production lines and increase operational efficiency, reinforcing Alwar as a key hub in Havells’ manufacturing ecosystem.
