Hi-Tech Pipes has commenced the commercial production at its Sanand Unit II, Phase-II in Gujarat, marking a major milestone in its ongoing brownfield expansion strategy.
The new phase adds one lakh MTPA of manufacturing capacity, significantly strengthening the company’s footprint in Western India and enhancing its ability to serve fast-growing industrial sectors. Equipped to produce large-diameter ERW pipes, jumbo hollow sections, and structural-grade steel products, the Sanand facility is positioned to support highdemand segments such as solar, fabrication, engineering, and infrastructure. The strategic location near key industrial clusters in Gujarat enables improved logistics efficiency, reduced transportation costs, and faster delivery to customers across Western India.
The expansion also broadens Hi-Tech Pipes’ product mix with larger diameters and more value-added grades, supporting long-term growth and operational scale. Additionally, the upgraded capabilities are expected to boost export contributions by facilitating the supply of heavy hollow sections and large-diameter ERW pipes to international regions.
