Hinduja Group is planning to redevelop its sea-facing corporate headquarters ‘Hinduja House’ into a 32-storey tower at Worli in Mumbai. The property covers a nearly half-acre prime land parcel next to the National Sports Complex of India and Nehru Science Centre.
The project will be developed with sustainable and green building features to integrate energy efficiency and water conservation in its design. In addition to the existing businesses, the new headquarters will accommodate all the offices of the group companies, which are presently spread across Mumbai.
The existing building will be demolished in the next few weeks, and the Group seeks to complete the redevelopment of this property over the next three to four years. Currently, the business is in the process of appointing a leading architect and design firm to prepare redevelopment plan, which will likely feature agile workspaces with each floor designed with a specific theme.
Hinduja Group has business interests across mobility, lubricants and specialty chemicals, healthcare, infrastructure project development, power, real estate, and others.
