Hitachi Energy India has secured a contract from Ayana Renewable Power to provide a grid connection solution for a 300 MW solar project in Bikaner district of Rajasthan.
In the contract, Hitachi will be responsible for providing the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) management package, which will involve collecting all the power generated by the plant and transferring it into the national transmission system.
The upcoming project is expected to be commissioned in March next year. With this contract, Hitachi would move another milestone towards an integrated renewable energy system.
Hitachi is working with Ayana Renewables on co-creating an optimised solution to meet the safety, quality and technical requirements of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), the end-user of the renewable plant. Overall, 33 GW of clean power flows through Hitachi Energy's technology in India.
