The House of Abhinandan Lodha will invest Rs 1,800 crore in the current financial year towards purchase of land and construction of projects as part of its expansion plan.
The Mumbai-based firm has already launched nearly 10 plotted development projects covering 650 acres in Maharashtra, Goa, and Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. Of this, Rs 550 crore will be spent on construction and the remaining on land acquisition, with capex fulfilment from internal accruals.
The company has identified 48 cities across India , to capitalise on the existing or upcoming infrastructure projects and inflow of tourists in these towns. The House of Abhinandan Lodha will also launch housing plots in Amritsar, Varanasi and Shimla.
Tapping into the demand for housing plots, the realty firm has launched more than 6,000 plots in the last three years and is set to launch more than 2,000 plots by end of this calendar year. Its first development was spread over 100 acres at Dapoli in Maharashtra.
