1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Hyderabad Metro second largest Metro network in India

Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekhar Rao flagged off the Metro train on Green Line stretch of 11 km of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project on 7 February 2020.

The train services was flagged off from Jubliee Bus Station (JBS) to Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS), connecting Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Hyderabad Metro Rail is the world's largest public-private partnership (PPP) project and with opening of the new line it is now the second largest operational Metro network in the country covering 69.2 km.

The JBS-MGBS stretch is part of Corridor-II JBS-Falaknuma (14.78 km). The work on the stretch from MGBS on Musi river to Falaknuma is yet to start.

The opening of this stretch will facilitate movement of commuters between two busiest Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus stations in Telangana. The metro also passes through several important landmarks like Parade Grounds, Musheerabad, RTC Cross Roads and Sultan Bazar.

MGBS inter-change station, is said to be the largest Metro station in the country and connects the Green Line to Red Line or Corridor-I from L B Nagar to Miyapur (length - 29 km). At JBS, Green Line is connected to Blue Line or Corridor-III from Nagole to Raidurg (length - 29 km).
