Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the opening of Gorbandh Palace, an IHCL SeleQtions hotel in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. It also marks the momentous milestone as IHCL’s 200th operating hotel.

The 83-key Gorbandh Palace, Jaisalmer - IHCL SeleQtions, pays homage to Jaisalmer’s storied past in its design. It offers multi-cuisine fare at the all-day diner 'Bazaar', Italian cuisine at 'Seray', and handcrafted cocktails at Musafir Khana. The spa offers holistic rejuvenation for the guests.

With over 8,0,000 sq. ft. of outdoor lawns and an ornate banquet hall of over 3,000 sq. ft, the hotel is an ideal destination for gatherings and corporate retreats. 

With this addition, IHCL has 23 hotels across Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger in Rajasthan, seven of which are under development. The opening of the hotel is expected to enhance the tourism potential of Jaisalmer. The ramparts of the Jaisalmer fort, traditional havelis, temples and breathtaking vistas of the sand dunes attract travelers from around the world to the city.
