The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed for opening of Taj Mysore, marking the iconic Taj brand’s entry into the city. This conversion project will transform the property into a 141-key Indo-Sarcenic hotel located at the foot of Chamundi Hills, offering views of Mysore Palace.
The hotel, set on 5.03 acres, includes amenities such as multiple dining options, a wellness center, and a spacious 11,000 sq. ft. banqueting area. The city's appeal is emphasised for both domestic and international travelers, particularly as a gateway to nearby tourist destinations. Mysuru, known for its rich history and cultural heritage, attracts tourists to sites like the Mysore Palace and Chamundi Hills.
With this new hotel, IHCL expands its footprint in Karnataka to 23 properties, including 10 currently in development. DM South India Hospitality, part of the DM Group, has long been involved in real estate and hospitality development across India.
