The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced plans to open a new Ginger hotel at Terminal 2 of Mumbai International Airport.
In collaboration with Hazoor Multiprojects, the 200-room property will be part of a mixed-use complex, including retail and commercial spaces. This development further strengthens Ginger’s presence in India’s key transit hubs. The Ginger Mumbai Airport T2 hotel will cater to both business and leisure travellers, offering amenities like an all-day dining restaurant (Qmin), a stylish bar, meeting rooms, and a fitness center. It adds to the Ginger brand’s expanding footprint across major airports in cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Goa.
Suma Venkatesh from IHCL highlighted that the growing passenger traffic at Terminal 2 underlines the increasing demand for hospitality services. This new property will complement the existing Ginger hotel at Terminal 1, making it a dual presence at Mumbai’s busiest airport terminals.
