Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) has invited bids for hiring a consultant to conduct the feasibility study for setting up a municipal solid waste (MSW)-based compressed bio-gas (CBG) plant in Chandigarh.
The consultant will be engaged on a milestone and deliverable-based contract, and the study is expected to assess the technical and financial viability of the proposed plant. The tender is structured under a hybrid model, as specified in the scope of work. This initiative aims to promote sustainable energy solutions by converting waste into clean energy, contributing to both waste management and renewable energy generation in Chandigarh.
The contract period for the engagement is two months, with the closing date for bid submission set for 13 January, 2026.
