IRCON has signed an agreement with Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).
The pact has been signed for construction of a new broad gauge rail line
between Jogbani in north Bihar and Biratnagar in Nepal. The project estimated to
cost Rs 238 crore is to be in two years. The proposed alignment connecting
Bathnaha (near Jogbani, Bihar) to Biratnagar (Nepal) will pass through
international Indo-Nepal border with three new station yards - Indian custom
yard, Nepal custom yard and Biratnagar terminal yard.
