ITC Hotels (ITCHL) has signed an agreement with KAC Palm Exotica Hotels to launch Welcomhotel Shankarpally in Hyderabad, marking the brand’s entry into Telangana.

Spread across 11 acres, the upcoming Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels will offer 155 guest rooms and villas, some featuring private gardens. The hotel will include a range of premium amenities such as an all-day dining restaurant, speciality restaurant, bar, lounge, pool, spa, and kids club. This new addition reinforces ITC Hotels' presence in Hyderabad, where it already operates two luxury properties—ITC Kakatiya (188 keys) and ITC Kohenur (274 keys).

The Shankarpally property is a strategic move under ITC’s “asset-right” strategy, aimed at expanding into tier-II-and-III markets while providing travelers with locally immersive experiences. Managing Director of ITC Hotels, Anil Chadha has emphasised the brand’s intent to grow with strategic partnerships.
