ITC Hotels has announced plans to build a new hotel in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, with an investment of Rs 328 crore.

The upcoming hotel, featuring 200 keys, is scheduled for completion by 2029 and marks ITC's first owned property in the city. Although ITC does not currently own any hotels in Vishakhapatnam, it manages two properties under contract: Welcomhotel Devee Grand Bay with 104 rooms and Fortune in Sree Kanya, managed through a wholly owned subsidiary, offering 68 rooms. This development aligns with ITC Hotels' broader investment and expansion strategy, aimed at strengthening its presence in high-growth destinations across India.

The move highlights Vishakhapatnam's growing potential as a business and leisure hub, prompting leading hospitality brands to increase their footprint in the region. The new project reaffirms ITC’s commitment to expanding its hospitality portfolio, and tapping into the rising demand for premium accommodations in emerging cities.
