InterGlobe Hotels (IGH) has opened a new Ibis hotel at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai, reinforcing its presence in key markets amid rising demand.
This marks the 25th Ibis property in India, with IGH, a joint venture of InterGlobe Enterprises and French hospitality giant Accor, owning 22 of them.
The company aims to strengthen its footprint in cities where it is already present, such as Bengaluru and Mumbai. “We are building our pipeline. We are looking at markets where there is a clear and present demand,” President & CEO of IGH, JB Singh said. He also revealed plans to expand further in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and other state capitals.
A strong demand-supply gap in the hospitality sector has driven hotel companies’ growth.
