Ipca Laboratories is planning to develop two new
manufacturing centres for formulations in Madhya Pradesh and Uttaranchal,
with a total investment of Rs.95 crore.
The Indore facility costing Rs.80 crore would be
specifically for exports and would be housed in the Indore special economic zone.
This facility
is expected to be complete within a period of 18 months and would help expand
IPCA's global market to 107 countries.
The company is also setting up a new Rs.15 crore formulation
centre in Uttaranchal to be functional by March 2006, catering to the domestic
market.
Both the projects would be funded mainly
through internal accruals.
