Ircon International has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL).
The work comprises sesign, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of broad gauge ballastless track (BLT), supply of ballast and installation of track (excluding supply of rails and track sleepers) between chainage 6+015 (FLS) to 125+200 (FLS) in connection with the new BG line between Rishikesh and Karanprayag (125km) in Uttarakhand. The duration for completion is 42 months.
This is through a joint venture i.e. IRCON- Paras Railtech-PCM Strescon Overseas Ventures (IRCON-PARAS-PCM (JV), with shareholding in the ratio of 60:25:15 respectively.
The integrated engineering and construction PSU specialises in large-scale, technologically complex infrastructure projects in railways and highways.
