Telangana has attracted a total of nearly Rs 5.75 lakh crore in investments, with Rs 2.9 lakh crore committed on the final day of its Global Summit.
The two-day event, held at Bharat Future City near Hyderabad, saw significant commitments across various sectors, including food and agriculture, electronics, biotechnology, and data centres. One of the largest contributions came from digital infrastructure, with JCK Infra pledging Rs 9,000 crore for data centre facilities, which will create almost 2,000 employment opportunities.
APG Group also announced a Rs 6,750 crore investment for a hyperscale data centre campus, while Infrakey Data Centre Parks committed a massive Rs 70,000 crore. These investments follow other major announcements, such as NTT DATA Group’s Rs 10,500 crore AI data centre project in Hyderabad.
"These investments highlight Telangana’s strong position as a global hub for digital infrastructure and data centres," said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who also launched the vision document "Telangana Rising 2047" at the Summit.
