1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

J&K's House Committee reviews JJM projects in Kupwara, Hatmulla–Bubernag scheme sees 74 percent prog

The House Committee of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, headed by Chairman Hassnain Masoodi, on 16 December, 2025 conducted an inspection of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) projects in Kupwara district to review the implementation and progress of water supply schemes.

The team included local MLAs, Mission officials, engineers, and other concerned officers. During the visit, Masoodi inspected the Gulgam Tangwari Water Supply Scheme, completed at a cost of Rs 799.60 lakh, which now provides potable water to 671 households across three panchayats. The committee also reviewed the Hatmulla–Bubernag scheme, which has achieved 74 percent physical progress with an approved cost of Rs 521.12 lakh, and the large-capacity Regional Water Supply Scheme Wayne, Kupwara, with a capacity of five lakh gallons. Other schemes, including Nutnussa and Watayen, were also inspected for functionality and service coverage.

The Chairman emphasised, “The objective of these inspections is to ensure transparency, quality execution and effective delivery of drinking water under the Jal Jeevan Mission,” directing departments to address bottlenecks promptly and maintain high standards.
