JSL Stainless has raised the proposed investment on Phase II development of
its plant in Orissa to Rs 6,400 crore. This is in order to expand production
capacity to one million tpa.
As per the revised financial closure the company is investing Rs 400 crore
more in the project slated to be commissioned by 2012-13. The project is being
funded in the debt-equity ratio of 70:30.
The company had originally envisaged setting up an eight lakh tpa steel plant
at a cost of Rs 6,000 crore.
