JSW Tuticorin Multipurpose Terminal, subsidiary of JSW Infrastructure entered into a concession agreement with VO Chidambaranar Port Authority in Tamil Nadu on 02 July, 2024. The company will develop a new seven MPTA Cargo Berth III at the VOC Port.
The development and mechanisation of North Cargo Berth-III (NCB-III), is for handling dry bulk cargo, at the port on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis.
The company will leverage its operational capabilities of handling bulk products, and would grow its cargo share on the east coast.
The asset provides access to the hinterland with a diverse cargo profile including dry bulk, coal, limestone, copper concentrate and others.
