Jaipur Metro's Phase 2 project will significantly improve the city's connectivity by linking both airport terminals, providing faster and smoother access for passengers.
The project will be executed using a unique strategy, dividing it into seven construction packages, allowing multiple agencies to work simultaneously and avoiding delays. This approach aims to ensure the metro corridor is completed within the targeted timelines. In addition to easing travel, the planned expansion is expected to boost employment opportunities and foster urban development along the proposed route.
Mamta Shah, MD & CEO of Urban Infra Group, highlighted that airport-linked Metro corridors are transformative for cities, as they not only improve mobility but also help decongest main roads and boost economic growth. The integration of seamless tunnels and shuttle services between terminals reflects a modern approach to urban infrastructure and smart mobility, setting a benchmark for other cities to follow.
