KNY Projects and Electrotech have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly develop and commission up to 200 MW of solar power plants across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
Under the agreement, Electrotech will supply advanced solar modules, inverters, and other core equipment, while KNY Projects will act as developer and independent power producer (IPP), overseeing project development, EPC execution, and long-term operations. The solar plants, expected to be commissioned over the next 18–24 months, will generate more than 360 million kilowatt-hours annually, supporting India’s renewable energy ambitions. Adarsh Ladda, Director, Electrotech, noted the projects’ alignment with India’s 500 GW renewable capacity target by 2030.
Shaurya Yadav, Executive Director, KNY Projects, said, "KNY Projects is honored to lead this initiative as developer & IPP, ensuring on-time delivery and operational excellence while catalyzing growth in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh." The collaboration underscores rising private-sector participation in India’s green transition and strengthens solar capacity expansion in key states.
