Manufacturer and supplier of PVC-based products, Kaka Industries, is planning to install a 1,300 KW solar power plant at its new factory at Lasundra in Gujarat. Spanning over 7,00,000 sq. ft. of land, the solar power project is scheduled to be fully commissioned by the end of January 2024.
The solar power plant, with an estimated lifespan of around 25 years, is expected to contribute to environmental sustainability while offering long-term energy cost savings. This plant is likely to play a significant role in meeting the substantial electricity requirements of the new factory.
Kaka Industries anticipates recouping the investment in the solar power plant through substantial energy savings within the first four years of its operation, reflecting a forward-thinking approach to energy management.
Moreover, the company aims to capitalise on the prevailing upward trend in electricity costs by implementing a strategic approach to enhance cost-effectiveness.
