Kalpataru Projects International (KPIL), along with its joint venture partner, has secured a significant contract worth approx. Rs 719 crore for an elevated Metro rail project in Thane, Maharashtra.
This new order strengthens KPIL's presence in India's growing urban transportation sector, especially in metro rail infrastructure. The company, known for its expertise in power transmission and distribution (T&D) as well as civil infrastructure, is confident that this order will contribute to its growth in the urban mobility segment. This reflects the company’s diversified order book and robust execution capabilities, positioning it well for future growth.
Prior to this, KPIL had secured other large contracts worth Rs 2,003 crore, covering sectors such as buildings, factories, and power transmission, both in India and internationally. The company’s expansion into urban mobility projects reflects the increasing demand for sustainable infrastructure in Indian cities.
