The Karnataka government has approved 69 projects worth Rs 3,500.86 crore in its 152nd state-level monitoring committee meeting.
Among the key approvals, Jyoti CNC Automation plans to invest Rs 285 crore in a machine tool centre, employing 3,394 people, while Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Ltd will invest Rs 250 crore in soap and detergent manufacturing. Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages is set to invest Rs 249 crore in beverage manufacturing.
The approvals include 12 large projects exceeding Rs 50 crore, totaling Rs 2,311.88 crore, expected to create employment for 18,972 persons. Additionally, 55 projects with investment between Rs 15 crore and Rs 50 crore, amounting to Rs 1,148.98 crore, will generate 5,832 work opportunities, while two projects with a combined capital of Rs 40 crore will employ 150 people.
Minister for Large, Medium Industries, and Infrastructure Development M B Patil reaffirmed the government's commitment to promoting industrial investments and economic growth.
