Krishak Bharati Co-operative
(Kribhco) has invited international bids for selecting EPC
contractors for its proposed fertiliser project at Hazira in
Gujarat. The gas-based plant with a capacity of 10,56,000 tonne
of urea and 6,10,500 tonne of ammonia is expected to be
commissioned by 2007, with physical work expected in October
2004. The Rs.1,655 crore project will have a debt equity ratio of
2:1.
Last date for submission of bids
is 5 May 2004.
Project Development India (PDIL)
would be the consultant for augmentation of offshore facilities.
The project would have mulitple option for procurement of gas
from Petronet LNG, Shell LNG, Reliance Industries or Gail. The company
has approached the Ministry of Environment & Forest for
clearance. The environment impact analysis and risk analysis
reports have already been submitted to the Gujarat Pollution
Control Board.
