Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has announced that its Energy CarbonLite Solutions vertical has bagged ‘Limited Notice to Proceed’ (LNTP) from NTPC.
The work order entails setting up thermal power plants worth over Rs 15,000 crore, and pertains to main plant packages of 2×800 MW Stage-II thermal power plant at Gadarwara in Madhya Pradesh, and 3×800 MW Stage-II thermal power plant at Nabinagar in Bihar.
The scope of work involves design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection and commissioning of boilers, turbines, electrostatic precipitators (ESP), auxiliaries, along with the related mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and civil works. The company looks forward to delivering the projects within a strict timeline
Separately, BHEL has won an order for 3x800 MW Telangana Stage-II supercritical thermal power plant, as the third plant in this bundle from NTPC.
