Lords Chloro Alkali, one of India’s prominent chemical manufacturers, has announced the expansion of its chlorinated paraffin wax (CPW) manufacturing capacity from 50 tonne per day (TPD) to 100 TPD. The company operates a facility spread across 84 acres at Matsya Industrial Area, Alwar, Rajasthan.
The plant has an installed capacity of 300 tonne per day for caustic soda production and previously expanded CPW capacity to 50 TPD earlier this year. Lords Chloro Alkali also owns a 16 MW solar power park on 45 acres in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Commenting on the expansion, Managing Director Mr. Ajay Virmani said, “We are happy to announce the expansion of our CPW manufacturing capacity from 50 TPD to 100 TPD. This marks a significant step towards strengthening our product offering and capturing emerging opportunities in the chemicals segment.”
With an 80 percent utilisation rate of current capacity, the company expects the new capacity to boost operational efficiency and positively impact performance from FY 2026–27. Established in 1979, the company is known for its diversified chemical portfolio, including caustic soda lye, sodium hypo, hydrogen gas, liquid chlorine, hydrochloric acid (HCL), and CPW.
